Ladies Sangeet Nights - DJ Nav Entertainments

How does the DJ Nav Entertainments ‘Sangeet Package’ work?

DJ Nav Entertainments will arrive to being setting up her DJ equipment 1.5 hours before your chosen event start time.

The size of DJ set up that you’ll need will be determined by several factors, so it’s best to contact DJ Nav Ents to discuss your details and requirements so that she can help advise and guide you on what set up will be best for your event.

DJ Nav Ents brings her own DJ table, extension cables and DJ set up.

Background music will be played as guests begin to arrive and gather.

Then when we have the majority of guests, ideally after starters have been served, DJ Nav Ents will sit down IN FRONT of the DJ set up and beckon for members of the family and guests to gather and sit around her. For those unable to sit on the floor, they can choose to sit on chairs around DJ Nav Ents and the guests. She then begins the traditional sit down Sangeet singing.

There is no set or definitive time on how long the singing part of the package will be. This is very much dependent on how the crowd respond and also your own time scales. This part of the package can last 45 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours or even longer! DJ Nav Ents can be fluid and flexible with timings for this and will take cues from the crowd and their response and interaction to the Sangeet & Boliyan.

This is then followed by DJ Nav Ents stepping behind her DJ decks and DJing for the rest of the party time. Whether you’re looking for more Bhangra or more Bollywood or some Western latest RnB and dance hits, DJ Nav Ents will discuss your requirements in the lead up to the celebrations to ensure the right balance it met.

Rest assured that this package will have the elder generation reminiscing of songs from the bygone era and have the younger generation laughing and clapping along – this is because of DJ Nav Entertainments highly UNIQUE way of bringing the traditional songs to life with her hand gestures and facial expressions and also explaining the songs in English where need be, so that everyone can understand and feel involved in the festivities.

The ‘Ladies Sangeet’ at Home DJ Package

If you’re looking to have your Sangeet party at home in a marquee – great!

DJ Nav Entertainments offers the ‘Ladies Sangeet at Home’ DJ package as well.

This set up can be adapted to fit anywhere and to any size of marquee.

Worried about the tent being too small? Don’t worry! The set up can be compacted and set up tighter to fit small areas or can be spread out if the space allows.

The Ladies Sangeet at Home DJ set up has been in to many, many marquees and is highly adaptable!

The ‘Ladies Sangeet At Home’ set up in a marquee

The set up includes;
* DJ table
* Black table cloth with DJ Nav Entertainments logo printed
* Bass boxes and speakers
* 1 x Dholak player

The standard set up does not include the white dancefloor and does not include any decorations/cushions/colourful sheets/umbrellas.

These have been provided by the family. Or you can choose to hire in these items from a decor team/specialist.

If you have the luxury of having a larger marquee, you can choose to upgrade and include LED moving head lights

Whatever sized marquee you have, DJ Nav Ents will adapt and adjust the ‘Ladies Sangeet At Home’ DJ set up accordingly.

With this in mind, the standard DJ set up doesn’t include any lights or spinning ‘disco’ lights as you may want to call them. BUT they can be added on if you wish to do so.

If you have a medium-sized marquee and some space available and want to add some party lights/colour to enhance your evening’s partying, then you can choose to add 2 x LED moving head wash lights. These are compact and sit either side of the DJ table.

They are self-running which means that they will spin around with a variety of colours as the music is playing throughout the party time. Throwing a burst of different colours during the party. So when the main lights are dimmed or turned down, these lights will bring out the party vibe.

Please speak to DJ Nav Ents for more details.

Note – White LED Dance floor shown here is not included in the package – this was a separate item. If you would like to add a White LED Dance floor to your set up, please speak to DJ Nav Ents for more details

If you’re having a much larger marquee and have lots of available space, then you may wish to consider keeping the same level/amount of sound as the ‘Ladies Sangeet At Home’ DJ package but adding a larger light show.

These are 4 x LED moving head beam lights that sit 2 per side of the DJ table. These beams are much more powerful and have much more scope in terms of colours and actual control of function.

They’re controlled by a separate laptop that DJ Nav Ents will bring and they allow many light shows and effects including strobe effect, so when the beat drops, these lights can flash and bring so much more energy and vibe to the night.

Please note that the flower wall back drop and the white gloss dance floor were installed by the family’s preferred decor team and are not included in the package as standard but can be enquired about – please contact DJ Nav Ents for further details

Did you know you can choose to add LED screens and vinyl wrapped dancefloors for your Sangeet set up?
